About us.

The idea for CAOS - Campus on Stage comes from an innovative best practice adopted at the University of Turin (Italy), financed by the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) and put into practice by the School of Law, Politics and Socio-Economic Sciences.

In 2024, thanks to the support of the Exeter Global Classroom, the University of Exeter (UK) joined forces with the University of Turin. This international collaboration involved over 20 educators and hundreds of university students.

It is aimed at promoting the use of educational theatre to engage students and 'stage' complex, interdisciplinary subjects. CAOS is open to all individual academics and universities that share our aim of creating more inclusive, international, participatory instruments for active learning and more engaging teaching. By joining CAOS, anyone can contribute to creating meaningful and innovative activities for Higher Education (HE) students, creating supportive environments for experiential global learning.
